(13 July 2021, Hong Kong) – Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom” or “the Group”, SEHK stock code: 2342), a leading global solution and service provider of wireless and information communications systems, launched the 428mm Compact Ultrawide Multiband Antenna, which will provide high-performance solutions to support future network development around the world.
428mm Compact Ultrawide Multiband Antenna
Stepping into the 5G Era, telecom operators are actively expediting the deployment of 5G networks to meet the growing demand for mobile data and IoT connections. With increasing upgrade requirements for technology and coverage on macro and rooftop cell sites, new 5G antenna installations are becoming more complex and facing increased difficulty in finding space to accommodate them. The Group’s latest innovation, the 428mm Compact Ultrawide Multiband Antenna, enables multiple bands and technologies to share an all-in-one design. With an integrated design, the antenna assures higher product reliability. Its reduced windward area and lightweight features also help lower the Total Cost of Operation ("TCO") for installation and transportation. This new antenna is now available for the global market and has already been deployed in several municipalities.
Key features of the antenna include:
- 428mm 2L6H 16 ports, 2x690-960/2x1427-2690/2x1710-2170/2x2490-2690MHz
- Significant width reduction from 498 mm to 428 mm for 2L4H side by side design
- Supports 700MHz,850MHz or 900MHz 4x4MIMO
- 8x8MIMO solution for 1800MHz, 2100MHz or 2600MHz
- Platform can extend to 2L8H with diplexer integrated
- Advanced compact size four high bands side by side design in the industry
Ms. Annabel Huo, Executive Director, Senior Vice President of the Group and President of Comba Telecom International said, “As a global leading antenna solution provider in the industry, Comba Telecom is committed to providing high-quality and high-performance antenna products. Along with the development of 5G communications, the global industry trends towards deploying antennas with smaller footprints and lighter weight to achieve higher connectivity value. We believe the compact ultrawide multiband antenna will effectively support operators to tackle the complexities on cell sites for future network deployment in a variety of 5G scenarios."
